Privacy Policy — Ring Target

Effective date: 2 October 2026

App: Ring Target (Android, com.ringtarget.game)

Developer: Hello World Technologies LLC

Contact: hello@helloworldtech.com

Ring Target is a one-tap arcade game. This policy explains what the app collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with, and what you can do about it. Ring Target is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the app.

1. What the app collects

1.1 Information you give us

Only if you choose to sign in with Google. The start screen lets you play as a guest instead, and a guest never sends us any account information.

DataWhy
Name on your Google accountShown on the game over screen so you know which account is signed in
Email addressIdentifies your player record and lets us answer a deletion request
Profile photo (URL)Shown next to your name in the app
Google / Firebase account IDThe key your saved score is stored under

1.2 Information the app creates as you play

DataWhy
Best scoreSo the number survives a reinstall or a new phone
Number of games playedShown to you in the stats sheet
Sound on/off, guest or account choiceRemembered so you are not asked again

If you are signed in, your best score and games played are saved to our database alongside your name, email and account ID. If you play as a guest, they never leave your phone.

1.3 Information collected automatically

Usage analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase). The app records events such as opening a screen, starting a run, a run ending, and tapping play, share, rate, sign in or sign out. Firebase attaches its own identifiers and standard device information to these events — app version, device model, operating system version, language, country/region derived from your IP address, and a random app instance ID. When you are signed in, these events are tied to your account ID.

1.4 What the app does not collect

We do not ask for or collect your contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera, precise GPS location, phone number, advertising ID, or any payment information. The app requests only the INTERNET permission. There are no in-app purchases and no advertising.

2. Why we use this information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build a profile of you outside the game.

3. Who we share it with

We do not share your information with anyone except the service providers the app is built on. Those are:

Both are Google services and are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to, or to protect our rights or the safety of users.

4. Where the data is stored

Your account record and analytics data are stored on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Google applies its own safeguards for those transfers. Everything else — your local best score, sound setting and session — stays on your device.

5. How long we keep it

6. Your choices and rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability under the GDPR, and the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are your consent (for analytics where consent is required) and our legitimate interest in running and improving the game.

If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address above.

7. Age requirement and children

Ring Target is intended for users aged 13 and older. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, email hello@helloworldtech.com and we will delete it.

8. Security

The connection between the app and Google's services is encrypted in transit. Account records are protected by Firebase's access rules so that a player's record is only reachable with that player's credentials. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be announced in the app's Play Store listing. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.

10. Contact

Questions, requests, or complaints — including asking to see or delete your data — all go to the same place. The Contact Us page explains what to include.
